Sunday HomeWord Class
Beginning Ephesians on July 7, 2025
The HomeWord Class meets Sunday mornings at 9:30. It is perfect for those unable to attend church to fellowship with others and learn about the Bible. Everyone is welcome, regardless of Their knowledge of the Bible.
Description: The HomeWord class offers an in-depth study of the Bible. We use the book series by Bible expert Warren Wiersbe*. Before meeting each week, Ralph McGarity sends out a chapter summary from which he bases the week's lesson. In the sessions, we progress through the Bible, alternating between the New and Old Testaments, guided by Wiersbe's insights.
Remote Format: The class is held via Zoom. Participants are using a landline phone, a smartphone, a tablet, and a computer to connect.
Prerequisites and Participation: No prior knowledge of the Bible is necessary to benefit from this class. Your verbal participation is welcome but optional. So, if you are a shy person or feel you don't know much about the Bible, don't worry.
Technology requirements: If you know how to dial a phone, you can dial in and participate by listening and speaking. For a more visually immersive experience, consider using Zoom. Ralph, a recently retired engineer with many years of experience hosting Zoom meetings, will gladly assist you with any technical issues.
Meeting Time: The class meets every Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Next step: Please just let Ralph know by calling or texting 830-672-6721 or emailing ralph_mcgarity@yahoo.com. Or, if you have used Zoom before, you can click on this link http://www.bit.ly/HomeWord at 9:30 Sunday morning:
